Mad Beach Craft Brewing Company tops the list because of their excellent location in John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk. They also have arguably the best selection of house beer, cider, and wine for those who enjoy variety. Hopheads will love the Octohopupus, a 9% ABV eight-hop double IPA with a seriously smooth malty backbone and a juicy aftertaste. Mad Beach also has a significant selection of craft ciders. The Kalypso is a slightly tart cider with a hazy color and a sweet key lime pie finish. Cycle Brewing – St. Petersburg
Many of our guests take day trips to downtown St. Petersburg, and we always point them in the direction of Cycle Brewing Company on Central Avenue. Cycle Brewing is one of the top breweries in the entire state of Florida. The Crank IPA is their juicy staple that resembles a fruity West Coast IPA. Fans of coffee-infused dark beer will fall in love with their Cream & Sugar, Please coffee porter. This silky porter is infused with a local dark roast from Mazzaro’s Italian Market.
Rapp Brewing – Seminole
You haven’t seen it all until you’ve visited Rapp Brewing in Seminole, 10 miles northeast of Redington Surf Resort. Rapp has 40 (whoa!) craft beers on tap, all brewed onsite by Greg Rapp and company. They’re best known for their sour beers, including the popular 6.5% ABV barrel-aged Chardonn-ale. Their tap list is always alternating, so keep a close eye on their up-to-date beer list.
Mastry’s Brewing – St. Pete Beach
Mastry’s Brewing is the first craft brewery in St. Pete Beach. Guests at Gulf Winds Resort will be a short walk from the brewery, located in the heart of the beach community. The brewery renovated an old gas station into a gorgeously unique space with an eye-catching sandstone brick wall and two massive sliding glass garage doors. Mastry’s has a terrific spread of beer styles, including their 6.4% Hefeweizen and the London-style Blind Pass Brown Ale. Every beer is tasty and refreshing, and you genuinely cannot match their service.
