This year will mark the 8th annual Super Boat Race in Clearwater Beach (Sept. 30th – Oct. 2nd). Not only will you see awesome boat races, but there are parades and live entertainment as well. Many of these boats will race at speeds up to 180mph. Which allows their 6,000 horsepower engines to need F-16 jet canopies just to slow down.

Try the spectator cruises to get an up-close and personal look at the race, from the waterway! It might be beneficial to think about getting a VIP pass for this boating event. As there will be VIP parties hosted throughout town.

Every year in late October, the Beach walk will have amazing and talented artists creating spectacular pieces. These artists sketch out large chalk designs and complete them for viewers to enjoy. If you’re looking for a free event to go to during fall, this is the place to be.

A lot of the artists who will be designing pieces in this open-air gallery are professionals, students from surrounding schools, and art groups that are participating. There is a competition for “Best in Show,” as well.

Last year’s event had many interactive pieces in the Kids Zone. Hopscotch, the game of twister, and 4 square allowed kids to have fun at the festival making this the perfect family event.
